"United Earthling" is a new, ambitious project of mine that has been on my mind for many years. I'm reaching out to musicians all around the world. Musicians who can see beyond borders, races or any kind of labels. Musicians who want to make a difference with their music, to make people aware of the issues we face as a society.
Kitten Kuroi - vocalist, songwriter and activist, has joined me for my first United Earthling project. Kitten has worked and traveled the world with artists like Natasha Bedingfield, Jon B, Engelbert Humperdinck, Pixie Lott, Queen Latifah, Ashley Roberts of the Pussy Cat Dolls and many more.
"Not Going Down" is the first single of our forthcoming EP. Please check out the video below for a sneak preview.
United Earthling feat. Kitten Kuroi | Not Going Down
Not Going Down
LABELS ARE FOR PEOPLE WHO LACK THE IMAGINATION OF A FREE WORLD
FREE YOUR MIND!
It seems to be some sort of a compulsive disorder of our society to put a label on absolutely everything.
People get confused when they can't clearly identify somebody or something.
But those labels are not coming from artists. Artists would never put a label on their work. It's coming from people who clearly lack the imagination of a free mind. People who can't exist without putting everything into tiny little boxes because they live in a tiny box, their world is a tiny little box.
Imagine, just for a moment, what it would mean for you, for our society, if we would stop labelling. If we wouldn't use the words black and white to describe people. Because frankly, the moment you use those words you create separation. No matter in which context. Try it for yourself, stop labelling, just for one day.
Erase the boundaries in your head that society has given you and liberate yourself as an artist and as a human being.
United Earthling is for musicians, artists all around the world who can see beyond what our society wants us to see. I wanna create a network of musicians who make music that crosses boundaries and make people aware of the issues we facing as a society.
